The online training program titled ‘Measurement and Evaluation Training Series-7: Redaction of Questions’, which was organized for our academic staff in cooperation with the Faculty of Education Examination Coordinatorship and the Educational Excellence Application and Research Center (NEVEMM), was successfully held online on Friday, 23 May 2025 at 14:00.
The training was presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Funda NALBANTOĞLU YILMAZ from Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University. The moderator of the session was Assoc. Assist. Ayten Öykü YAŞAR moderated the session.
During the training, the processes of linguistic and structural revision of exam questions in measurement tools were discussed comprehensively; the importance of question editing in terms of academic validity and reliability was emphasised. In addition, redaction practices were carried out with the participants on various examples and suggestions on common redaction errors were shared.
The session, which progressed interactively with the contributions and questions of the participating academic staff, was carried out within the scope of the ‘Training of Trainers’ programme aiming to improve the measurement and evaluation competencies of the academic staff of our university.
