The Department of Measurement and Evaluation in Education (MEE), which operates under the Faculty of Education, Department of Educational Sciences at Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University, continues its undergraduate education and training activities. Its mission is to train experts and academic staff in the field of Measurement and Evaluation in Education. The primary objective is to conduct high-quality scientific research and development activities required by the education system. Other objectives include:

Through undergraduate courses and other academic activities, equipping students with the fundamental knowledge and skills needed to develop measurement tools used in education and psychology, and to interpret the scores obtained from these tools,

Training specialized individuals who can work in the field of measurement and evaluation in private and public institutions as well as in universities,

Conducting theoretical and practice-oriented scientific studies and sharing the results of these studies with relevant academic and social communities,

Organizing scientific meetings aimed at raising awareness and sharing knowledge related to the field of measurement and evaluation in education,

Producing national and international projects related to the field of measurement and evaluation in education, supporting existing projects, and taking part in their implementation,

Carrying out studies to enhance communication and collaboration with academic units and non-governmental organizations related to the field of measurement and evaluation in education
There are two academic staff members in our department: one associate professor and one research assistant. Our faculty members contribute to the delivery of undergraduate courses and student advising processes in line with their areas of expertise.
