Measurement and Evaluation Training Series -1: "How Should a Valid and Reliable Measurement Be?" Trainer Training Successfully Completed

The online training titled “Measurement and Evaluation Training Series -1: How Should a Valid and Reliable Measurement Be?” planned for our academic staff under the coordination of NEVÜ Faculty of Education Exam Coordination and Center for Excellence in Education (NEVEMM) was held on Friday, March 21, 2025 at 14:30 with a high level of participation.
The training was presented by NEVÜ faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Funda NALBANTOĞLU YILMAZ, and moderated by NEVÜ Res. Asst. Bedri Nejat YÜZÜAK.
In the training, the importance of measurement and evaluation in educational processes was emphasized, and how a valid and reliable measurement should be was discussed within the framework of basic principles. Participants gained comprehensive information on ways to ensure validity and reliability in measurement tools, points to be considered, and the reflections of these principles in practice.
The event, which was held online via Microsoft Teams, attracted great interest from NEVÜ academic staff. At the end of the training, participants who wanted to receive a certificate of participation completed their registration through the specified form.
The sessions that will continue the training series will be announced in the future with the cooperation of NEVÜ Faculty of Education Exam Coordination and NEVEMM.
